Usage

The hoe is used in farming.

Harvesting

The hoe is not used to harvest resources.

  • Harvesting soil: Hoes can be used to harvest soil blocks (left mouse button), although a shovel is much faster.

Combat

Attacking a mob (melee combat): place the tool in an active hotbar slot and press or hold left mouse button to strike the target.

Crafting

With the hoe in the active hand, use RMB to till the soil and convert soil blocks to farmland.

Storage

Tools are items commonly used by players and are generally equipped in the hotbar. Up to four tools can be placed on the tool rack, a specialized wall-mounted storage container. Hoes do not stack in inventory or when placed in containers.
