Poultices are the only dedicated healing items in the game.

Healing

The best way to heal ingame is by simply eating enough and giving it time. The natural healing will kick in when the player is sufficiently sated, and will tick away slowly but steadily. If for whatever reason the player needs instant heal, there are a couple of options.
Honey as well as saguaro fruit offer a natural healing effect once eaten, although it is not very high, and lost upon cooking. For a more reliable healing effect, it is recommended to carry around a few poultices. These come in different levels of efficiency, however the better the heal, the harder to get are the ingredients, obviously. And even the best poultices only offer a small relief, so the player should either be careful, or prepare to haul around a big amount of these - keep in mind that each type of poultice only stacks to a maximum of 16.

In order of efficiency, there are four different kinds of poultices:

Horesetail Reed Poultice

These combine the healing flower horsetail with a base of cattail. Each of the poultices heal for a total of 2 HP.

Horesetail Linen Poultice

These combine the healing flower horsetail with a base of linen. Each of the poultices heal for a total of 4 HP.

Honey-Sulfur Reed Poultice

These combine the healing properties of honey and sulfur with a base of cattail. Each of the poultices heal for a total of 4 HP.

Honey-Sulfur Linen Poultice

These combine the healing properties of honey and sulfur with a base of linen. Each of the poultices heal for a total of 7 HP.
