Hay Bales are blocks mostly used for crafting. They're also a more efficient way of storing dry grass in a player's inventory. Being a block, they can be placed anywhere in the world.

Hay Bales can be used to craft:

- Straw Dummy (used in beekeeping)
Animal Husbandry
Hay can be placed in large troughs to feed Wild pigs and Bighorn sheep, when breeding domesticated livestock through Animal Husbandry.
Storage
Hay stacks to 64 and can be transported in the player's inventory, stored in stationary containers, or stacked on solid surfaces on the world.
