Hares are one of the common animals found in the world, and are a source of Redmeat and Raw Hide (Small) .

Therefore, hares will not spawn on tilled farm blocks since the grass that grows on fallow tilled blocks does not grow tall enough to count as a valid spawn. Hare spawns can also be blocked by placing rocks on soil blocks as it prevents grass from growing. They will not spawn on lit blocks.
