Natural Generation

Tall grass spawns on any type of soil blocks with a grass coverage variant (green top).

Special Case Generation

Tall grass grows naturally on player created farmland blocks, and will regenerate even after harvesting.

Propagation

Tall grass cannot be planted by players. Tall grass that is cut does not regenerate on soil blocks.

Harvesting

Tall grass must be harvested using a knife or a scythe. With the knife in the active hand, press left mouse button on the block.

Usage

When harvested, tall grass can be "Dry Grass".

Fuel

Grass can be used as fuel.

Animal Husbandry

Grass can be placed in troughs to feed pigs and sheep when breeding domesticated livestock in animal husbandry.

Crafting

Dry Grass is used to create:

• firepit

• Hay Blocks

Hay blocks are used to craft

• The Hay bed
• Straw Dummy (used in beekeeping)

Storage

Dry grass stacks to 64 and can be transported in the player's inventory or stored in stationary containers, but may not be stacked on solid surfaces. Players can convert dry grass to hay blocks for 6X more efficient storage. Hay bales can also be placed as blocks in the world
