Natural Generation (Spawning)

Foxes will spawn in light levels XX and higher, at temperatures between -XX and XX, and as little as XX rainfall. They generally spawn as lone animals.

Behaviors

Foxes are small mobs that attack players when provoked. Hungry foxes will often seek out and kill nearby chickens or hares.

Receiving Damage

Foxes become aggressive when taking damage, and will attack the player.

Domestication

Foxes cannot be domesticated, but can be killed for animal resources.

Harvesting

Butcher the animal using a knife in the active hand. Hold Shift + Right Mouse button until the butchering process is complete and the GUI opens to allow players to remove products.

• Foxes are a source of Bushmeat, raw hides, bones and fat.
