A Forge is used to heat ingots to a temperature that will allow them to be shaped into tools with a [[Hammer|hammer]] on an [[Anvil|anvil]]. To do this you must fill the Forge with coal and light it with a torch. Once lit, ingots can be placed on top and heated until they are glowing.

To ignite the forge, shift + right click it with a torch. Ingots placed on top of the forge will be heated, and begin to glow. The [[Metal|metal]] can be worked when it is heated to a temperature above 60% of its melting point. Right click to take the ingot from the forge. The forge will continue to heat items until all fuel is consumed.
