To create a firepit you must collect dry grass and craft firewood. Firewood can be crafted with a log and an axe. Place dry grass on a block and then place firewood around it and you will see smoke appear. You now have a firepit!
Usage
Firepits are used for the following:
- Crafting torches by burning sticks
- Burning clay items(crucible, ingot molds, tool molds)
- Melting metal for pouring into molds
- Cooking meat
