El Carbón es un grupo de minerales utilizados como combustible. Hay tres tipos de carbón: lignito (lignito marrón), bituminoso (carbón negro) y antracita.

Obtaining

Coal of all types only appears in sedimentary rock, usually no deeper than 5-10% of world height below sea level. Being concentrated in such a narrow range of depths, it is more likely to show up in caves near the surface than most other ore deposits, even in areas where a prospecting pick indicates a relatively low concentration.

Coal will never appear in or beneath layers of granite, andesite or peridotite rock.

Usage

Crafting

• Brown and Black coal can be used to manufacture coke .
• Black coal is a pigment that can be used to write on signs , labeled crates , etc... and to draw symbols on walls.
• Black coal is furthermore used to make blasting powder, which is used to craft ore blasting bombs .

Fuel

The coals are some of the most potent fuels. Anthracite's 196 seconds is the longest burn duration of any fuel. Their temperatures are very high as well, only being beaten by charcoal which burns much faster. All coal types may be burned to fire a cementation furnace for steel making .

Black coal and brown coal can be manufactured into coke in a coke oven, to be used as carbon in the coffin for steel making .
