Clay: Difference between revisions

'''Clay''' is a terrain block variant created during world generation. Both blue clay and fire clay are found in the same climate. Blue clay is 5 times more frequent than fire clay but fire clay has slightly larger deposits (15 blocs radius against 13 blocks radius). Their deposits are disc-shaped and that disc follows surface deformations. The thickness of the disc can vary between 2 and 4 blocks.

There are two type of clay blocks: Blue clay (appears pale blue) and Fire clay (appears pale pink/beige). Players can find deposits of clay scattered throughout temperate zones in the world.

Blue clay can be used to form {{ll|Ceramic Blocks#clay brick|clay bricks}} or {{ll|Ceramic Blocks#hardened clay|hardened clay blocks}}. Blue clay is primarily used to form pottery items and {{ll|Molds|molds}} in conjunction with the clay forming mechanic. Fire clay may be substituted for blue clay in any of the uses named above, but only bricks made of fire clay ({{ll|Fire Brick|fire bricks}}) can be used to create the {{ll|Bloomery|bloomery}} and only fire clay can be used to create the {{ll|Clay oven|clay oven}}.
