Crafting

Refer to the Survival Starter Guide to learn how to craft charcoal. The maximum size of a pit is 11 x 11 x 6 (width _x depth _x height)

Storage

Once you collect the charcoal you have created, it cannot be replaced on the ground and must be stored in stationary containers.

Usage

Charcoal is the first type of fuel you can obtain that is capable of generating temperatures high enough to smelt metal ores.
