Carrots can be found growing in the world.
Naturally occurring or player farmed carrot crops mature at growth stage 7. Break carrots with an empty hand, knife, or scythe to harvest. When fully mature, crops yield multiple carrots and at least one seed when harvested. Harvesting immature plants yields fewer carrots and may not provide a seed.
Carrots may be eaten without cooking and can be used as an advanced cooking ingredient in:
- Meat Stew (1-2)
- Vegetable Stew (1-4)
- Soup (1-3)
- Porridge (1-2)
Carrots can be kept in storage vessels.
Decay and Preservation Methods
Even when appropriately stored in storage vessel within a cellar, vegetables decay. Pickling methods can be applied to preserve vegetables.
