Bloomery

The Bloomery is a functional block that can be used in the advanced stages of the game.

It is used for the melting of materials that require a very high temperature, such as glass and some metals that can not be melted in the firepit, most important ones are glass and iron.

Making the Bloomery

The Bloomery consists of two blocks: the Bloomery base and the chimney. These are the crafting recipes:

Once you crafted these two blocks, you have to put the Bloomery base first, then the chimney on the top of it.

Smelting in the Bloomery

The Bloomery does not have a GUI. You simply have to right click aiming at the Bloomery Base with the desidered item in your hand.

If now you aim at the Bloomery base, you will see in the description the items currently in the Bloomery:

You can now ignite it with sneak + right click on the base with a Torch, and after some seconds you will see the smoke from the chimney, and the hole on the base will start to light up.

Smelting will take around 10 ingame hours. Once completed the smelting, you have to break the Bloomery to gather your materials.

Please note that breaking the Bloomery, you will obtain only 8 fire bricks, so you will need another 4 bricks for crafting both Bloomery base and chimney to start the process again.
