Blocks

Boards are the lumber components used for crafting and building wooden items including plank blocks. Plank blocks appear to be a pile of assembled wooden boards. Boards and plank blocks are inter convertible. Boards can be stored in stationary containers (64) or may be stacked in piles on the ground. To place boards in stacks on a block: hold the plank boards in your hand, sneak (shift) and use the right mouse button to place onto the square/space you have identified using your crosshairs. Each time you press the mouse button you will place a board onto the block you have selected, which will create or add to a stack. Stacks of boards may be placed on top of each other.

Obtaining

Boards are crafted using a saw and a log or plank blocks in the crafting grid Plank Blocks can be broken by hand, but it is faster to use an axe.

Usage

Fuel

Boards or Planks are both flammable and can be used for fuel in a fire, boards burn for 6 seconds and plank blocks burn for 20 seconds.

Note: Wooden Path Blocks can only be crafted from aged wooden planks
