Controls
This page was last verified for Vintage Story version 1.18.7.
Vintage Story primarily uses mouse and keyboard input for controls. All controls listed here are defaults. These can be changed via the in-game settings.
Toggleable options
By default, both of these options are on.
Option | Effect |
---|---|
Toggle Sprint | On: Sprinting is toggled using the Run key - tap once to enable, and tap again to disable sprinting. Off: The Run key must be held down to run. |
Mouse modifiers locked to Sneak/Sprint | On: Mouse actions are modified by the Sneak or Run keys you have bound. Off: Mouse actions modifiers can be separately bound. These default to Shift (for "sneak-click" actions) and Ctrl (for "sprint-click" actions). |
