A '''Honeycomb''' is a useable item produced by bees. Honeycombs are a source of [[honey]] and [[beeswax]].

Honeycombs can be obtained by either {{tnt|Breaking|harvesting}} wild beehives, or from {{tnt|Breaking|breaking}} [[skep]]s filled with domesticated bees as a part of the [[beekeeping]] process.  

They can be obtained sometimes in [[ruin]]s by breaking forage or arctic supplies [[cracked vessel]]s.

Honeycombs can be purchased from [[Trading|agriculture traders]] for an average price of 1 [[rusty gear]] each.

Honeycombs can be {{tnt|SneakClick|squeezed}} over a [[bowl]] or a [[wooden bucket]] to extract 0.2 L of [[honey]] and leaving 1 usable [[beeswax]] in the player's inventory for each honeycomb. Despite the game's wording, honeycomb cannot be pressed in a [[fruit press]] to extract honey and wax, and must be used over a bowl or bucket.
