The '''immobilized eidolon''' is a tall hostile android who has been immobilized because a collapse of the ceiling took place in the room where it was. This creature is the boss of the {{ll|Resonance Archives|Resonance Archives}} dungeon. It is the first boss introduced in Vintage Story.

Though the immobilized eidolon cannot move its legs, it can still do a great deal of damage. Its health bar is very large (500 hp) so the fight is very long. It has the ability to attack in 3 different manners:

===Melee attack===

The eidolon strikes the player with his arm. It is a knockback attack.
:Damage : 2
:Damage tier : 3
:Damage type : Slashing attack

===Throwing a boulder===

The eidolon throws a granite boulder to the player. This happens if the player is not in melee range.
:Projectile damage: 8
:Damage tier : 2

===Slam===

The eidolon slams the ground and debris from the ceiling fall on the player. This happens if the player is not in melee range.
:Projectile damage: 8
:Damage tier : 1

==Origins==

The word eidolon comes from ancient greek and can be translated as [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eidolon body double of a human].

This mechanical creature was created either by Jonas Falx or one of his disciples to help people in their everyday tasks.

We do not know why the eidolon and all mechanical creatures turned hostile against their creators.

There exist 2 {{ll|Tapestry#Schematic_C|tapestries}} representing the schematics of an eidolon that can be found in {{ll|ruin|ruins}}. One version of this tapestry is tainted with blood, testifying of the violence that occured.

There is a text on the schematics tapestry:<br>
''"A mobile colossus for scaffold and hoisting. May they inspire our tired workmen". When they first started moving, the crowds almost panicked and fled. But eventually a cheer went up. Finally we had made something greater than ourselves.''
