The 1.21 Update added onto the previous major update, by expanding upon the new water and sailboat mechanics and visuals. Bear hide armor, more ground storage and an updated cloud shader function are also found in this version.
The 1.20 Update added 4 new story locations to the main story (expanding it with a second chapter), rideable elks and sailboats, new underwater flora and overhauled the bricks. Alongside other visual changes to bodies of water and metalworking the update also added several new (voxel sized) bugs, expanding upon the wildlife, as well as other QoL changes.
The 1.18 Update added a new story location, the Resonance Archives, the Glider and a Raft as new modes of transportation, a way to create and edit custom books, as well as making numerous changes to already existing game mechanics and terrain generation.
The 1.17 update is split into two parts. The De-Jank and Game Juice update, released on , improved and added a lot of game visuals, weather phenomena (like lightning and wind) and added 200+ new Clutter objects. New wildlife such as Gazelles and Salmon was also added, alongside various QoL enhancements. The released Spooktober Update, is a minor addition contributing pumpkin carving during (real life) October and November, as well as a new menu screen.
The 1.16 Update added fruit trees, alcohol making, several new mushroom types, temporal rifts and made slight changes to visuals and game mechanics. Other notable additions were crates, trunks and shields.
The 1.15 update added multiple new tree types, crops and other plant enhancements, mainly to the tropical regions of the world. Pit kilns, baked products such as pie and bread, henboxes and other changes were also added.
