Metal tongs are created by smithing one ingot of the respective metal.

Usage

Tongs must be equipped in the player's off-hand slot to function. Once equipped, they enable players to craft with high-temperature items and select them in the hot bar without suffering damage.

When a hot item is picked up, the tongs lose 1 point of durability. Higher tiers of tongs have higher durability:
