Sturdy leather is an upgraded version of leather . It is used to craft the highest tier of bags .

Creation

The production of sturdy leather requires a large or huge-sized hide. It uses the normal leather working process up to the second step, where the hide has been soaked in limewater and scraped.

  1. The scraped hide is heated with 3L of chromium sulfate in a cooking pot .
  2. The chromium-tanned hide is then heated with 3 pieces of beeswax in a cooking pot. A large hide yields 3 sturdy leather, and a huge hide yields 6 sturdy leather.

As with all non-food recipes, these steps will leave the pot covered in residue and permanently unsuitable for preparing food.

Note that the production of chromium sulfate requires a pulverizer with steel pounder caps.
