Quartz is a very common mineral that can be found in large deposits at nearly all heights.

Obtaining

Quartz is found in almost every rock type; exceptions include bauxite , kimberlite , suevite , and marble . Pickable stone variants can be also found in the surface.

Clear Quartz can be obtain similar but with a certain chance.

Usage

Both Quartz and Clear Quartz can be use to be smelt in the bloomery to make glass . While Quartz is a required ingredient in the steel-making process, which crushed Quartz is blended with crushed Bauxite and Fire Clay to make the refractory bricks that is used to construct a cementation furnace. Clear Quartz can be use as an alternative for lantern or making Clear Quartz glass. It is also required to make the rift ward .
