Every chicken's worst nightmare
Foxes will spawn in light levels 7 and higher, at temperatures between -15 and 15, and as little as 0.25 rainfall. They cannot spawn on blocks lit by torches or lanterns. They spawn as lone animals or as a couple.
Foxes are small mobs that attack players when provoked. Hungry foxes will often seek out and kill nearby chickens or hares .
Foxes become aggressive when taking damage, and will attack the player.

Foxes cannot be domesticated, but can be killed for animal resources.
