Bones can be harvested from slaughtered wild or domesticated animals. Multiple bones can be obtained from large animals such as bears, bighorn sheep and gazelles and one in medium animals such as wolves, wild pigs and hyenas. They are sometimes absent in small animals such as hares, foxes, chickens and raccoons.
